Google Account and Google Business Profile Data

HPCPost is a scheduling tool developed to help manage and publish posts to Google Business Profile. When a user connects their Google Account to HPCPost, the application requests permission to access the Google data required to provide its scheduling and publishing features.

Information We Access

Depending on the permissions granted by the user, HPCPost may access:

  • Google Account information needed to identify the connected account and complete authorization.

  • Google Business Profile account and location information needed to identify the business profile where posts will be published.

  • Information related to creating and publishing posts, such as post text, images, scheduling details, and publication status.

  • OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens required to maintain authorized access to Google services.

HPCPost accesses only the information needed for the features the user chooses to use and the permissions granted through Google's authorization process.

How We Use Google Data

We use Google data solely to operate and improve HPCPost's user-facing functionality, including connecting a Google Account, identifying eligible business profiles, scheduling posts, publishing authorized content, and checking publication results.

We do not sell Google user data or use it for targeted advertising. We do not use Google user data to build advertising profiles or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.

Data Storage and Security

HPCPost stores application data needed to operate the scheduling service. OAuth tokens and other sensitive information are handled as confidential data and are protected using appropriate access controls and security measures.

Only authorized systems and personnel may access this information when necessary to operate, maintain, or troubleshoot the service.

Sharing of Google Data

We do not sell, rent, or disclose Google user data to third parties for advertising or unrelated purposes.

Google data may be processed by infrastructure and hosting providers only as necessary to operate HPCPost, maintain its security, and provide its functionality. We do not otherwise transfer Google user data except as permitted by applicable law and Google's API Services User Data Policy.

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain Google-related information only for as long as necessary to provide the requested functionality, maintain the scheduling service, and meet applicable legal obligations.

Users may disconnect their Google Account to stop further authorized access. Where applicable, users may contact us to request deletion of stored Google-related information. We will review such requests and delete the relevant information when it is no longer required, subject to applicable legal obligations.

When authorization is revoked or a user disconnects their account, HPCPost will stop using the authorization for future access to Google services and will handle associated tokens and stored data in accordance with its data-retention practices.

Google's User Data Policy

HPCPost's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

For privacy-related questions or data deletion requests, contact pathaks.hit@gmail.com.
